We went down 132 steps to the Catacombes. There were tunnels underground where the people who built Paris got their limestone.  About 200 years ago they moved the bones of dead people from Paris to the catacombes because they needed the cemetery space in Paris for houses. There were these rats that carried around a disease called the Black Death 💀 on fleas. It killed lots of the people who are in the Catacombes. Maeve was a bit scared, Jasper was not.
